Submit to The Aglaia

Phi Mu encourages members to submit stories, news or content ideas to The Aglaia. Because of the volume of submissions received and the space constraints in our magazine, it is possible your material may not be used or that it will appear several issues later than you expect. Every effort is made to include date-sensitive items in a timely manner.

Submissions must include:

  • Your first, maiden and last names, chapter and school, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and the date.
  • The first, maiden and last names, chapter and school of all sisters in your article and photo caption(s).

Guidelines for photo submissions:

  • Photos should be no larger than 2MB, and a resolution of 300dpi.
  • Acceptable formats are jpeg (maximum quality), eps and tif.
  • Do not submit camera phone or social networking site photos, as they are not of print quality.
  • Do not edit photos in any way prior to submission (i.e. cropping, adding text, etc.)
  • Do not embed your photos into a MS Word document.
  • Print photos are acceptable, though digital photos are preferred.
  • You may submit your photos and story ideas to aglaia@phimu.org. Alumnae chapter news may be submitted using the form found on your Bloom profile in the Member Tools container, Alumnae Resources folder. Collegiate chapter news may be submitted using the form found in the Leadership Center, Chapter Leader Tools, Resources folder.
