Phi Mu Foundation Seeks Foundation Trustee Nominations
In preparation for its annual membership meeting during the 2008 National Convention, Phi Mu Foundation is seeking nominations for the Board of Trustees. Individual members of the Foundation, as well as collegiate and alumnae chapters, are encouraged to submit names of qualified candidates. Three trustees will be elected to the Board, which will in turn elect its officers. Candidates must be members of the Foundation.
Important qualifications to consider in nominees include the following:
- A knowledge of Phi Mu operations, Fraternity experience and/or administrative experience in a similar organization.
- A background in the field of finance, education, fundraising and/or philanthropy.
- A willingness to devote the time and travel necessary to complete the responsibilities of a trustee.
- A willingness to be a consistent contributor, committed to giving strong financial support.
- An acceptance of the responsibility to participate in active solicitation of funds as directed by the Board.
