Phi Mu Fraternity Seeks National Council Recommendations Phi Mus are invited to participate in the nominating process for the National Council to be elected during the 2010 National Convention. By submitting recommendations to the Nominating Committee, you become an integral part of electing those who will lead the Fraternity.
Who will be elected? National President, Vice President Collegiate Operations, Vice President Collegiate Membership, Vice President Alumnae and Vice President Finance.
The positions appointed by the National Council are Vice President Communications and Extension and Vice President Panhellenic.
Who is eligible? According to our Bylaws, a member of National Council must have served as an officer of the Fraternity and the National President must have served on National Council for at least one term during the previous three biennia (Article II, Section2.) Officers shall serve a two-year term.
Who may recommend a candidate? Recommendations for candidates may come from any Phi Mu member in good standing and should be submitted on the standard recommendation form found at www.phimu.org. Please note the deadline for receiving recommendations is December 1, 2009.
